2018 was by far a very interesting year for myself and my family (tragic as my daughter just said)! I began the year in Las Vegas, Nevada with my mother who was dying of stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. From there the year was full of ups and downs including loosing my paternal grandfather! I felt myself shutting down and began to focus on just making it through! I traveled a lot and enjoyed some awesome experiences such as visiting the Grand Canyon via helicopter and took my first train ride. I took my first cruise with two of my cousins whom I haven’t spent much time with over the past 10-15 years! My husband, daughter & I took our first international family vacay! Celebrated 10 years of marriage! Some of my best girlfriends & I traveled twice together which is very rare for us! And my brother and I traveled together for the first time since Cabo San Lucas back in 2007! I’m very thankful for my travels as it is a big part of how I enjoy spending my time when I’m not working! As the year wraps up I’m looking forward to setting goals, being more positive and continuing to practice saying No!
