California Love

I hadn’t been to LA since Labor Day 2018. The west coast holds some of my most precious memories! I was born in the Bay Area, I still have family there & I actually had to tend to some unfinished business! My first long weekend since returning to work & I new I was in need of a get away! Two weeks prior to leaving I snagged a few flights for free (vouchers & points).

IND ✈️ BUR & PSP ✈️ IND the flights were fine! I opted out of LAX as it’s a major traffic jam! Socially distanced as possible, mask required & the airport’s were still not crowded, but the flights were as full as could be!

Typically I fly into LAX but I always research all my options & may the best flight win! Like LAX, Burbank Airport is a short 25 min commute to the W Hollywood. You all should have know I wasn’t staying anywhere else! After staying at the W in Bali & Montreal I decided its my fav & I really don’t want to stay anywhere else! To my surprise The W Hollywood was just ok!

I hadn’t been to Palm Springs since I was a little girl but I have been dying to go & my cousin told me about a dope outlet mall (Desert Hills Premium Outlet) nearby so I figured why not kill two birds with one stone.

Now Palm Springs doesn’t have a W but since I’m a Marriott kind of gal I opted for the Renaissance which is pure luxury! I stayed at the Renaissance in Paris & as I was solo I felt very comfortable & decided to give it another go! I also fined at The Nest which had the coolest vibe & the owner was the chicest little lady, I can’t wait to go back!

The weekend was amazing fine dining, beach, pool & shopping with amazing people!

As always, thanks for traveling along!
