Birthdays Past

It’s my birthday week and I’ve been home sick for two days now! I’m still trying to nurse myself back to good health so I can enjoy my birthday tomorrow and my day trip! I mean who doesn’t want to spend their birthday basking in the sun with a drink in hand! Until then, lets take a trip down memory lane! My mom always said, “life is the best party I’ve ever been invited to!” I’ve always wanted that to be true for me too!

5️⃣ in Sawtry Village, England. I had a my little pony cake & I was clearly dressed to impress! I remember it being co-ed and there being music, dancing and pin the tail on the donkey!

2️⃣1️⃣ This was my first trip to Vegas & the bar was set pretty high! I had the best time, so much so I went back for at least 5 more birthdays!

2️⃣5️⃣ my husband & mother threw me a surprise party! It was very special! I recall my grandfather coming in town from Michigan! He was the best

3️⃣0️⃣ The one I’ll never forget! Las Vegas had my heart!! My best friends surprised me & I literally cried tears of joy all weekend! I will forever be grateful for this trip & the memories I made with my husband, mom, cousins & sisters!

3️⃣4️⃣ I had a good ol’ house party! My husband Dj’d & celebrated way too hard but it was a great time with my friends & family!

3️⃣5️⃣ Solo in Paris! By far the most amazing travel experience I’ve ever had! My mom had passed 2 months prior & her friend offered me a buddy pass! So for taxes only I was off to explore Paris solo for a long weekend!

Last but not least, 3️⃣8️⃣ Thank you God for keeping me! I am under the weather but I’m still here! I am hoping to feel better tomorrow so I can celebrate with friends but if not I’ll def make up for it! Last weekend my husband told me to be ready by 7p! I got my makeup done & we dined at Tony’s of Indianapolis. We even enjoyed a night at the Alexander Hotel! It was the perfect early birthday celebration!

Until next time, thank you for traveling back in time with me!
